About our Fees

The fees for Jam Camp reflect the family nature of our camp. Jam Camp is an adventure for the entire family, thus we require that each person attending Jam Camp five years old and older are requested to pay a registration fee, including parents.

If you wish to attend Jam Camp but are burdened by the cost, please email Celina Tumbach. We strive to make Jam Camp accessible for everyone; there are several volunteer positions available in exchange for registration fees, as well as scholarships.

Registration for 2012 Camps will open in February 1, and close June 1!

Jam Camp Society's Registration Policy

Due to legal limitations of our incorporation, all youth participants must be registered with a parent or other another adult who will assume responsibility for the youth. Jam Camp staff are not responsible for feeding, safety, or night time supervision of participants. Please contact Celina if you have any questions or concerns about this policy.

Registration for Christina Lake Jam Camp

Registration closes June 1th, 2011. All fees should either be paid via Credit card (over the phone at 1-866-460-9447, Visa, Master Card, and American Express accepted) or sent as a Cheque (and made payable to Christina Lake Village) and mailed to:

Fees for Christina Lake Family Jam Camp:

There are two fees for Christina Lake Family Jam Camp:

1) Registration Fee

Amount: $100 for each child between the ages of 5 and 7 Years old and
$225 for each person over the age of 7 paid on or before June 1st.
Payments made after this date will be have an added late payment fee.
This fee covers the cost of a facilitator, craft supplies and meals!!

Meals are buffet style, served in the on-site restaurant. For any special dietary requests or concerns, please call 1-877-767-4337.

2) Camping Fee

The Camping Fee varies depending on how you choose to camp at Christina Lake!

The rates for each night are:

• $5/person - Dry camping
• $7/person - Camping with water and power hook-ups
• $30/person - Motel room (based on double occupancy 3rd and 4th persons are an additional $10 each.)

Registration for Kokanee Creek and Shuswap River Jam Camps

Registration opens February 1, 2012, and closes June 1, 2012. All fees (cheque or money orders only, made payable to Jam Camp Society) must be postmarked by June 1 and mailed to:

Late registrations will be considered based on how full the camps are. Late registration fees may apply.

Fees for Kokanee Creek Family Camp:

There are two fees for the Kokanee Creek Family Camp:

1) Registration Fee

The Registration Fee is per family member age 5 and older, and covers 4 days of workshops, evening performances, and the Jam Camp CD. This fee does not include food; each family cooks their own meals.

Amount: $110 per person 5 years old and up, paid on or before June 1. Payments made after this date may have an added late payment fee.

2) Campground Fee

The Campground Fee is a fee-per-day collected by BC Parks from Jam Camp Society. Please combine your campground fee with your registration fee, made payable to Jam Camp Society. The Society will then give the Park the entire camping fee on arrival.

Amount:

• For each night,
• Every person over the age 15 = $4
• Plus every child between ages 6 to 15 = $1
• (Kids under 6 free!!)
• PLUS an additional base rate, per family = $15

For example, a family of five (two adults, one 7 yr old, one 5 yr old, and a baby) will pay:
$4 (adult) + $4 (adult) +$1 (7 yr old) + $0 (5 yr old) + $0 (baby) +$15 (base rate) = $24 per night for the camping fee.

Fees for Shuswap River Family Camp:

There are two fees for the Shuswap River Family Camp:

1) Registration fee:

$150 per family member age 5 and up paid before June 1st. After 3 people in the same family are registered, the 4th and all subsequent members are $100 per person.

For example:

• 2 people coming to Jam Camp = $300
• 3 people coming to Jam Camp = $450
• 4 people coming to Jam Camp = $550
• 5 people coming to Jam Camp = $650 etc…
